Add Some Flair to Your Gift Wrapping

After you’ve hit your favorite shops in Alliance Town Center to find the perfect holiday gifts, what’s next? It’s time to wow your friends and family with creative gift wrapping, and maybe they’ll even love the wrapping as much as the present inside! This year you can turn gift wrapping into an art project by trying one of these festive wrapping techniques. Here are six different ways to wrap presents this holiday season:

Geneva Vanderzeil from Bloglovin shares with us how to make a stitched up gift wrap with a sewing machine, but we are sure these would look equally as great with larger stiches by hand.

Bring the season of the spirit to your presents by adding some greenery to your gift wrapping as shown by Alison Fieldmann on the Etsy blog.

Gold tipped paper feathers are sure to add a sophisticated touch to any gift. If you don’t own gold paint or want to avoid the mess of painting these feathers, try using a gold permanent marker. We are so glad Lia Griffith shared this idea!

Let’s face it, making bows is just not a natural talent for many of us, which is why we love Craftionary’s idea of replacing bows with candy. Not only will the candy help cover up your lopsided bow, but also help us score some points with all those that have a sweet tooth.

Add some sparkle by adding inexpensive ornaments to your gifts.  If all of your ornaments are already hanging on your Christmas tree, you could even use artificial flowers for a more feminine touch just like Thrifty and Chic did.

Yarn and twigs come together to create this dainty gift topper as seen on Tumblr. Most of us already have these items in our own home so no need to run out and buy more gift wrapping supplies. This can also be a great art project to help your children get in the holiday spirit!
